Sunscreen is very very important for our skin as the fresh air is important for breath. 

You should always use a sunscreen which has SPF 40 when heading out to avoid the tanning and sunburn. Many of us use the sunscreen but ignore the elbows and hands which causes the darkness. 

Scrubbing is essential for removing the dead skin cells. As our skin exposes to the sun which has harmful UV rays . And the dead skin cells develop over the time because of not scrubbing properly. 

Scrubbing is not only important for the face but this is also very important for our body. Elbows and knees become dark because of dead cells and exposure to the sun and you can get rid of it only by doing proper scrub. 


This baking soda is great skin lightening agent. We use this in our food but this can also act as skin lightening agent for our skin. But it can be harsh on dry and sensitive skin. 
It controls the melanin production and has the bleaching properties. 

1 tbsp baking soda
1 tbsp of milk

Take 1 tbsp of baking soda and mix it with 1 tbsp of milk or you can also use coconut oil for soft skin. Apply it on your elbows and knees and massage it for 5  minutes everyday for best results. 

Lemon is the best lightening and brightening agent. You can use it to lighten up your skin. 
Gram flour is great exfoliate and turmeric has amazing benefits for our skin even to be brides use this remedy. 

Half lemon
1 tbsp gram flour
Pinch of turmeric

Take 1 tbsp of gram flour and squeeze half lemon into it then add a pinch of turmeric. 
Apply it on the elbows and knees. Let it dry for 10 min. And remove it by scrubbing gently. Do this process daily for lightening the same. 

This is natural and amazing exfoliate for our skin. Honey makes the skin soft and supple and hydrate the same. 
Sugar removes the dead skin cell and bacteria and ideal on the sensitive skin as well. This is gentle on all skin type. 

1 tbsp of sugar granules
1 tbsp of honey

Mix the sugar and honey to make a scrub. Apply it on elbows and knees scrub it for 10 minutes. This leaves your skin soft and supple. 
Apply daily for quick results. 

Potatoes have the lightening and brightening properties. One can get rid of dark elbows and knees by applying it. This is simple and easy to do and affordable for all as well. This remedy gives you a quick results. 

1 potato
1 tbsp aloe vera gel

Take 1 fresh potato, peel it off. Then grate it. After it take out its juice and mix with aloe vera. Apply it on your elbows and knees for 20 minutes daily then wash it off that's it. 
Coffee works as great as a exfoliate and removes the dead skin cells and bacteria. And lighten and brighten the skin as well. 
This scrub is ideal for all skin type and makes your soft and supple. 
Coconut oil is also lighten and brighten the skin tone which is helpful in removing the darkness. 

1 tbsp coffee
1 tbsp coconut oil

Mix the coffee and coconut oil for making ba scrub. Apply it on your elbows and knees. Scrub with it for 10 minutes then wash it off. Do this process everyday for quick results.
