So in my last post, I have shared another effective facial at home that is Tomato facial at home for glowing skin. 

So, today I am sharing with you an effective facial for dark spots and blemishes. Potato is full of nutrients and antioxidant compounds. Potato is rich in Vitamin C, potassium, fibre, manganese and so on. It also has skin lightening and brightening properties. It reduces the pigmentation and makes your skin glowing and flawless. 

So this post is great for those who have dark spots, blemishes, pigmentation and these kinda problems. 

So now, let's get started.

STEPS IN THIS FACIAL

There are 3 simple and easy steps in this facial and I will explain every single very well so keep reading. 

STEP 1:- CLEANSING
STEP 2:- SCRUB
STEP 3:-FACE PACK

Don't skip any of the steps otherwise you will not see the effective results. 

STEP 1- CLEANSING

First and foremost step is cleansing. This is really important because it removes all the dirt and impurities from the skin and helps the next level to work well. 

Ingredients
1 tbsp potato juice
1 tbsp Rose water

Method

Take a fresh potato and peel it off. Grate it then strain out its juice with the help of a strainer.
Now take 1 tbsp of this juice in a bowl.
Add 1 tbsp of rose water. Mix well.
Take a cotton pad. Cleanse your face with it gently.
Then wash off and pat dry. 

STEP 2:-SCRUB

After cleansing the face, apply this face scrub. This will remove the dead skin cells and clears the skin deeply. This will remove all blackheads and whiteheads. This also helpful in removing dark spots and blemishes. 

Ingredients
1 tbsp grated potato
1/2 tbsp potato juice
1/2 tbsp rice flour

Method

Take a fresh potato and peel it off. Grate it or take the rest of potato from the above cleansing step.
Now take a bowl, Add potato juice, grated potato and rice flour to it. Mix well.
Now, apply it on your face and rub gently.
Don't forget to apply it to your neck , this also helps to lighten the dark neck.
Then wash off and pat dry.

STEP 3:- FACE PACK

This is the last but not the least step of this facial. This face pack removes all the dark spots and blemishes. This also makes your face glowing and flawless.

Ingredients
1 tbsp potato juice
1 tbsp curd
1/2 tbsp honey

Method

Take a fresh potato and peel it off. Grate it then strain out its juice with the help of a strainer.
Now, in a bowl add this potato juice, curd and honey.
Mix very well. Apply it to your face evenly for 15 minutes.
Then wash off and pat dry.
Apply moisturizer.
